I can vouch for the reliability of these little vans. I have used mine for over a year now, it carries a full load of tools and MIG welding kit does well over 1,000 miles every single week, is stopped and started over 20 times every single day, goes up and over kerbs ramps and speed humps, and has never let me down. Doesn't use or lose any oil and never misses a beat, it is a truly superb little piece of engineering, Prior to getting this little Suzuki i used to get through vans like no mans business, having destroyed everyone (usually Fords and Transit connect vans) tough vans in their own right. However none of them can hold a candle to the little Suzuki Carry 1.3, as yet there is no end to the abuse it seems happy to take

Hi Andy, have a look on e-bay, I have a suzuki mpv which we have just built for a customer and a Carry Camper which we did last year. using them both to get some more orders. Rascal van spares business going, as demand is next to nothing. Which model Romahome have you got ? Regards Tim www.bedfordrascal.com

Hi Tim
I have been looking at the pics of your Carry campers and think they are absolutely brilliant, one day when i have a second i'd like to pop over to yours and see one in the flesh so to speak.
My Romahome which i think is an absolutely brilliant camper, so comfortable and quick compared to the Bambi is a D reg model built i think on the Citroen C15 van but don't quote me on that as i know next to nothing about these vehicles as yet.
My one criticism of it is the brakes, they are completely useless. The van comes with good service history and looking through it an absolute fortune (£1000s) has been spent on the brakes over the years, i think each successive owner has had the entire braking system replaced in an attempt to improve the stopping power!!
On the last attempt i notice that the garage has put a note at the bottom of the £500+ invoice stating that the brakes are still spongy and that they have contacted Citroen who tell them that nothing can be done about it as the servos fitted to these are poor.
Unfortunately due to the diabolical brakes i have now broken the van!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was unable to take enough speed off and hit a speed hump a bit too fast. Don't know what the damage is yet makes a bad scraping noise everytime i hit a bump now.
Will try and have a look during the week and see what the damage is.
I also meant to photograph it and put it up here in all its glory over the weekend but although we went away in it we forgot to take a camera with us and my phone camera is almost as bad as the Citroens brakes so will have to leave it till next weekend now.
Hopefully going to the forest of Dean over the weekend so will get some pics up for that
Cheers Tim
Andy
