Winter is here, so don't forget to change your winter/summer air intake valve to Winter". It will improve the Warm-up time and save you money. But Make sure the pipes are in good condition. Regards rascalvan

If it is anything like the Bambi, the lever is accessed via the offside locker. You will have to delve a little deep, but it looks a little like a dip-stick. Slide/pull to the left or right to alter the setting - I cannot remember which side is which!
I am sure Tim will come along in a while, to confirm.

Hi All, Valve is always on the drivers side chassis area, just behind the cab,(underneath). On a van it is mounted sideways, but has winter arrow pointing to outside of van. On a pick-up the valve is mounted front to back, and the settings are " Spring forward ( like the clocks) for summer. Winter is Fall /winter back, so move little arm towards the rear in winter. This will help with warm up time, and improve the heater output. But only as long as the pipework to the air filter and the other pipe to the exhaust area are both in place. We sell the pipework if anyone needs it. 01249 721350 or www.bedfordrascal.com

Aha, finally got round to looking for this on a cold, rainy thursday night. Its already on the winter setting - no wonder the heater was good - must change it back come spring.
Thanks all for the info
