i love my sat nav and if i am ever bored i know that i can get in the car and program it to take me some where i have been before but never ever by the route it chooses, I simply put in for the shortest route and have fun. one half hour run took over an hour we followed a herd of cows going to be milked , crossed three fords we never knew existed and went along lanes that we had never gone along before. it cut 15 miles of our normal milage.and we saw some wonderfull country side. I also know that i can use it with a it of common sense to get me to where i need to go with out too much of a problem in a busy city center. but as we all know they are not idiot proof, read the signs , read the road and enjoy it. I also enjoy telling the "voice " just what i think of it with out worrying about upsetting it. live dangerousely,, ignore the commands to go straight on and turn off its chosen route. the feeling of all that power is just so good... annie. she who must be obeyed.. LOL. I have just hit the spell checker and it suggests that satnave be changed to satan. who says it has no sense of humour
