sorry about the description but could not find another way to describe what i mean.
the tops of the side storage panels had been damaged over the years but how to repair them and so stop water seeping in.
My old addled brain worked overtime and i came up with a possible solution. I went into the shed and found a bit of left over poster holder strip i opened up the storage flap and slid the end into the poster holder and and eased it over the rough metal. YES. IT WILL WORK.
onto E bay and I found some 36 inch long poster holders in white. cut to just over size and slid them over the metal tops. they look very neat and tidy. I sealed the open ends with clear silicon. job done and the total cost ? less than £6.00
