Just spent an enjoyable three days at Quantock Orchard, situated to the north of Taunton, about 10 minutes away on the A358.
The site has EHU, laundry and wash-up facilities, a small shop on site, a games room, with video games, Sky TV, and a pool table. Internet access is available from the shop. Showers and toilet facilities were also very clean.
A short walk away is the award winning Crowcombe Heathfield Railway Station, on the West Somerset Railway, where we had a nice morning cup of tea and coffee, and a very friendly chat with the Friends of Crowcombe Heathfield Station, while a restored Diesel and Steam Locomotive made their stops.
Rates at the campsite are very reasonable, and it is highly recommended!
