ok computer just decided to send and i had not finished . LOL I am looking for the window that goes onto the front of the bunk overhead cab. Both hubby and I use wheelchairs and have decided to have a bit of fun before the Bin man comes to collect us. look out for two geriatrics wearing baseball caps with the Bambi camper and our names embroidered on a badge and shout hello to us. its most like we will be in the company of three small dogs. Our first outing is to be Symonds Yat at a small place with free hot showers and some wonderfull walks and cycle tracks. words from a song.. Youth only happens to you one time, at least thats what I've been told, If you should miss it in your young time HAVE IT WHEN YOUR OLD. Sorry but the bin man will have to wait his collection for a while. Ann and Stan

I like your style, Ann and Stan. Well played.
No activities in your area as yet. The site and forum have only been going around 9 months now, and I expect it will take another 9 for things to settle down, and establish themselves.
There is a meet, Rascal Campers' first, in September, in conjunction with the Small Motorhome Forum, just west of Tiverton, Devon.
I know Symond's Yat very well, and the views are fantastic. I have even been up there with friends - admittedly some years ago - at around midnight. That is an experience on its own!
Monmouth isn't too far away, nor is Ross on Wye, and both are rather picturesque. In fact you are spoilt for choice at SY. A nice little trip along the Wye Valley to Tintern Abbey, I can recommend a nice pub and restaurant with an indoor waterfall just north at Llandogo.

Good for you eggyannie and hubby, I am of the opinion that I intend to stay in my 20s as I liked the music from the eighties, so at 49 I am still in the my 20s, just that you double them !!. I hope to be able to have camping holidays for the rest of my life, so I admire you both. Regards Tim ( Rascalvan) www.bedfordrascal.com
