Hi Helen, and welcome to the forum. The Bedford and the Suzuki are the same vehicle, aside from the labelling and the front grill. They were made side-by-side in the same factory in Luton. (Some wags say that Rascal stands for Really A Suzuki, Made in Luton.) You may also find the odd, and rare GMC, Vauxhall, even Opel motorhome. Tim at bedfordrascal.com is the guru of anything Rascal, Supercarry, be they Suzuki or Bedford, or otherwise, as well as the vans, Danbury Conversions, Romahomes, and pick ups. There is a wealth of information and experience to be gained by asking a question on our forum. Don't be afraid to ask what you may think is a silly question. We all had to start somewhere! Some spares are becoming difficult to source, not too much of a surprise, as the Rascal, itself is 25 years old, this year. But where there's a will, there's a way. Can I suggest that you follow some of the links click here for further websites and useful forums? The Rascal and its variations have a cult following, and a growing number of enthusiasts. HTH - and above all enjoy your Romahome!

Yes, the Haynes manual, for what it is, will be fine - but look out on eBay, the Bedford manual comes up from time to time for c.£25 HTH

A secondhand haynes manual, either the red or blue cover, comes a lot cheaper on ebay :-)

Lancaster Insurance - we paid c.£140 for ours, fully comprehensive, with an agreed value of £4000. This is c. £15 (inclusive), which needs photos forwarded to them. HTH
