I can thoroughly recommend Cornish Farm, one of our regular haunts. Situated in the Shoreditch Hamlet of Taunton, in the middle of farming countryside, there are EHU's, spotless facilites - Toilets, Showers, and Washing-up facilities. The nearest shops are a pleasant one and a half miles walk away, and the Town Centre is two. Rates are very reasonable too. The couple that look after the site, are so friendly and helpful. A themed BBQ is scheduled for the first saturday of the month. Bring your food, and they will cook it for you! Their website - here.

Not sure of my favourite one but really enjoyed a weekend away at Forest Gate in the Forest of Dean, this whole area is really beautiful and i can recommend it to anyone, you certainly will never be short of something to do here whatever your interests from Caving to Ancient woodland. Zap are you a doctor who fan?? In the Forest of dean there is a fantastic woodland where many of the episodes of Dr Who were filmed, well worth a visit fan or not ( in the process of building my little boy a lifesize Dalek motorised and with voice modulator one he can sit in and drive around sorry i am digressing its the dr who link in my brain kicking in) Back to the campsite, its small with a very friendly owner /operator husband and wife team, it is kept immaculately clean, and i can recommend it and the area to all Andy

Yep huge Dr Who fan. My Dad knew Jon Pertwee, and he was just as befuddled off screen. Looking forward to the Christmas specials, BTW!

Just back from a very long weekend at Cornish Farm, our second this year, so far. There is now a Friday evening chip run. Great value and excellent chippy!
