Hmm I think insurance is legalised robbery. My daughters pay far more in insurance premiums than the value of their vehicles. However there is nothing you can do about it they have you over the proverbial barrel. It is theft but legalised theft!

Hi Andy, on the ford Ka, we found they were prone to sticking piston rings etc causing low compressions, causing bad starting. ( same on OHV fiesta engines) The cure was to add an additive to the fuel, our personal choice was Forte' Gas treatment, which really works, I once got one from 60 psi, non starter to 150psi, and after that it started fine. Also does improve any "sticky" engine, and would improve the Bambi engines that don't get much use. Wynns also do a similar product, but it is a watered down version.
